Summary

This apprenticeship is for anyone wishing to get into a career providing ICT Support. The apprenticeship will involve providing IT support, together with learning technical skills involving Windows, PC’s, Laptops, Classroom AV, Wi-Fi, Infrastructure, Applications and Microsoft Office 365.

Wage

£14,918.80 for your first year, then could increase depending on your age

We usually add the price of a season ticket of local bus travel to the wage so the apprentice isn’t paying for their travel

Work

Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.

What you'll do at work

  • Providing IT Support to staff and students, working with the Network Manager and a central team
  • Maintaining SLA’s and meeting KPI’s
  • Fixing hardware and softweare issues
  • Speaking with 3rd parties and suppliers to provide useful IT solutions

  • Apply continuous professional development CPD to support their own learning, business needs and technical developments.
