Summary
Supply Plus design, manufacture, repair, service aluminium ladders, shutters and gantries for the fire, police and commercial market worldwide. We also design and manufacture; hose reels, road and tanker fittings and cable drums, manufacture pressure and vacuum relief valves.

Work
Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.
What you'll do at work
Main Duties:
- Mig and Tig welding components from mild steel, aluminium and stainless steel
- Reporting to Team Leader of welding department
- Will be one of 5 welders on a shop floor of 40
- Employees directly employed in manufacturing

Essential qualifications
GCSE or equivalent in:
Maths and English (grade 4-9)Let the company know about other relevant qualifications and industry experience you have. They can adjust the apprenticeship to reflect what you already know.

Other requirements
The company has 6 fully equipped welding bays and two welding robots inside the factory. This involves collecting all the material required for the job and using the appropriate jig if required. Once welding is complete the individual will be required to check the component to drawing and perform the necessary deburring/ fettling .
