Summary
Josh Haynes is a professional event rider based at Team Marsden with their yard situated on the amazing grounds of Somerford Park CW12. They are looking for a Level 2 apprentice to join their team of other apprentices and more experienced staff members, opportunities to travel to shows.

Work
Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.

General duties to include;
- Turning out
- Bringing in
- Tack cleaning
- Preparing for shows
- Riding (competent)
- Lunging
- Mucking out
The apprenticeship is a work-based position with all learning being onsite. Somerford Path is an incredible Equestrian Centre with enviable facilities.

Your training plan
- You will be working towards the Level 2 Equine Groom apprenticeship, with the employer at the employers premises, and supported by Haddon Training
- You will also be supported in completing Functional Skills at Level 1 and/ or 2 in maths and English if you have not yet achieved a 'Pass' grade

For the right candidate, there is the possibility of progressing to a Level 3 Senior Equine Groom apprenticeship upon successful completion of Level 2, or possiblity of a permanent position.
