Summary

We are seeking a motivated Apprentice GRP Fabrication Operative to join our team in Hull and complete a Level 2 Lean Manufacturing Operative apprenticeship. You will learn all aspects of GRP fabrication while working on real projects. You’ll gain hands-on experience and complete a nationally recognised qualification.

Wage

£12,563.20 for your first year, then could increase depending on your age

Work

Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.

What you'll do at work

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in fabricating and assembling GRP components
  • Operate tools and machinery under guidance
  • Ensure quality and safety standards are met
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives
  • Complete apprenticeship coursework and training

We are looking for someone with:

  • A strong interest in manufacturing and GRP fabrication
  • Practical, hands-on approach and eagerness to learn
  • Good attention to detail and ability to work in a team
  • Basic numeracy and literacy skills

Desirable (but not essential):

Previous experience in manufacturing
