Work
Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.
What you'll do at work
- Work on heavy machinery, ensuring manufacturing plants are safe, functional, and efficient
- Complete daily maintenance to a high standard
Conduct mechanical and health and safety tests to ensure systems are reliable - Manage site breakdowns by identifying and repairing faults
- Suggest innovative ideas to enhance production efficiency
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, prioritising safety in all tasks
- Tackle tasks both indoors and outdoors, sometimes in dusty or confined spaces – full protective equipment and safety support will always be provided
