Work

What you'll do at work

  • Receive, check and store incoming stock safely and accurately
  • Pick, pack and prepare customer orders for dispatch
  • Maintain warehouse organisation, cleanliness and stock records
  • Support with testing, assessing, and basic repair of smartphones and IT equipment
  • Use internal systems to log and track stock movement

Your training plan

Training will take place in the workplace at i-go.life, Market Drayton, with regular remote sessions delivered by our approved training provider. Off-the-job training will be approximately 6-hours per week - this means you’ll be released from normal work duties during this time (not off-site), to focus on structured learning activities. You’ll also develop skills continuously through hands-on experience in your day-to-day role.

More training information

Training will be delivered by a registered apprenticeship training provider, experienced in delivering the Level 2 Supply Chain Warehouse Operative Standard. The course will include regular progress reviews, remote coaching sessions, online learning modules, and support with functional skills if required. End-point assessment preparation will take place during the final 3-months.

Other requirements

This role involves manual handling, lifting stock, and standing for long periods. You’ll work in a busy warehouse with varying workloads, from quiet to very busy. You must be able to arrive on time and travel independently to Market Drayton without relying on parents or guardians.
