The successful applicant will be working towards developing skills to run a section whilst maintaining high levels of food and hygiene.

Work

Ensure high levels of health and hygiene including:

  • Keeping work areas clean and tidy
  • Avoiding cross contamination
  • Minimum wastage

To follow all policies and procedures are followed as required by the head chef.

Your training plan

  • You will be working towards a level 2 NVQ as a Commis chef
  • As a part of your training, you will attend cooking academies and meet with your assessor on site to further your learning 
  • At the end of your training, you will be assessed through an end point assessment

Other requirements

This position does include weekend and evening work in a fast paced pressured environment. We are very busy in the summer so additional work might be required in the busy months
