Our client is looking for someone with a passion for manufacturing to join their team and complete an apprenticeship qualification in Lean Manufacturing.

Work
Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.
What you'll do at work
The primary role for the apprentice will be as a Tape Edger. As well as ensuring mattresses are produced to the correct specification, you will also:
- Maintain a safe working environment and adhere to health and safety regulations
- Operate machinery and production line equipment
- Perform quality checks and inspections to ensure finished goods are in line with quality policy
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment
- Report any defects or issues to management
- Meet production targets and deadlines
- Always maintain a clean and tidy workspace
- Comply with all company policies and procedures, including ISO and make recommendations for continuous improvements
- Any other reasonable tasks as required by the management team
