Summary
Here at Knightsbridge Furniture, we manufacture quality bespoke furniture. We are currently looking for an enthusiastic person to join our existing highly skilled team of wood machinists. Throughout your course, you will be taught on all aspects of wood machining enabling you to produce highquality furniture components. This is a great opportunity.

Work
Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.
What you'll do at work
- Learning how to operate and set all aspects of wood machines
- Gain an understanding of what it takes to turn rough-sawn timber into finished furniture components
- Learn how to work as part of a team and on your own, gaining the skills required to become a fully qualified wood machinist
- Set up and operate machinery, tools and equipment used to produce furniture
- Identify issues quickly, solve problems and apply appropriate solutions

Essential qualifications
GCSE or equivalent in:
Maths and English (grade 2,3,4 or above)Let the company know about other relevant qualifications and industry experience you have. They can adjust the apprenticeship to reflect what you already know.
