Work
Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.
What you'll do at work
The apprentice will be based on sites in London and south east, and would shadow anyone of our field engineers to learn the fundamentals of "BMS", Building Management Systems. However some office based activities will also be required
- Work with a wide range of systems including HVAC, metering, networking, and other integrated technologies
- Learn how to set up the control panels
- Commission the control panels and the controllers

Apprenticeships include time away from working for specialist training. You’ll study to gain professional knowledge and skills.

You will also undertake a Site Safety Plus Course and be issued with an Electrotechnical Certification Scheme (ECS) card. This accredits the qualifications and experience of workers in the electrotechnical industry.
The role may also necessitate manufacturers training after a year or so (this is off site and based in Horsham).
