We’re offering an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Yard Operative Apprentice through a Level 2 Lean Manufacturing Operative Apprenticeship. You’ll learn on the job while developing practical skills that will set you up for a rewarding career in the waste management and recycling industry.

Work
Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.
What you'll do at work
- Segregating and sorting waste materials into appropriate streams
- Supporting recycling operatives and drivers as needed
- Maintaining a clean and organised yard and shed area
- General maintenance and sweeping duties
- Assisting staff across the business with operational needs
- Reporting daily tasks to the Yard Supervisor
- Following lean principles to contribute to efficient and safe working practices
