Work
Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.
What you'll do at work
Assisting with the Engineers in machining products to drawing specifications and to customers’ quality requirements, in the most efficient manner:
- Gain experience in manual machining
- Gain a good understanding of CNC programs
- Be able to produce and verify CNC programs from engineering drawings
- Set and operate CNC machines
- Work with various materials
- Gain experience in all foundry / casting processes
