Work

Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.

What you'll do at work

Assisting with the Engineers in machining products to drawing specifications and to customers’ quality requirements, in the most efficient manner:

  • Gain experience in manual machining 
  • Gain a good understanding of CNC programs
  • Be able to produce and verify CNC programs from engineering drawings
  • Set and operate CNC machines 
  • Work with various materials
  • Gain experience in all foundry / casting processes
