Summary

You will be joining the team as a Junior Digital PR Assistant Apprentice. This role is designed to support the business in enhancing digital marketing capabilities, entering new profitable markets, and expanding their service offerings through innovative strategies and advanced technologies.

What you'll do at work

Adopting New Technologies and Processes in Digital Marketing:

  • Conduct research and analysis to identify the latest technologies and best practices in Digital PR and outreach
  • Assist in integrating AI-driven analytics tools, advanced SEO software, and automated outreach platforms into our marketing processes
  • Develop and execute innovative digital outreach strategies to optimise campaign performance and enhance brand visibility

Enabling Entry into New Markets:

  • Conduct market research to identify opportunities in paid media and published media markets
  • Develop strategies for market entry, including competitive analysis and targeting potential clients
  • Assist in the execution of marketing campaigns tailored to these new markets to drive business growth and competitiveness

Adopting New Services Related to Digital PR and Digital Media:

  • Identify and analyse new service opportunities within the Digital PR and digital media landscape
  • Collaborate with the team to develop and promote new service models and offerings
  • Assist in marketing and promoting these new services to existing and potential clients
  • Minimum of 6 hours per week spent on apprenticeship work and training

What you'll learn

Course contents
  • Develop or interpret briefs for external or internal stakeholders and measure delivery in-line with the specification and agreed timelines
  • Plan and coordinate a marketing activity using marketing tactics to acquire and retain one or more customer segments using available resources.
  • Contribute to the generation of innovative and creative approaches across video, images, and other formats, both online and offline, to support campaign development.
  • Use research/survey software to gather audience insight and/or evaluation to support the project.
  • Use copywriting techniques to write persuasive text/copy to meet a communications objective ensuring it is in-line with organisational brand guidelines.
  • Build and implement multi-channel campaigns across a variety of platforms, either offline or digital media.
  • Proofread marketing copy ensuring it is accurate, persuasive and is on brand.
  • Use software to design and create marketing assets to meet the technical specification.
  • Contribute to the research of external suppliers to support recommendations and procurement of marketing goods and services.
  • Organise offline and digital assets ensuring they are co-ordinated and legally compliant.
  • Use a website content management system to publish text, images, and video/animated content.
  • Create and maintain spreadsheets to support marketing activities such as project/budget planning and organisation of marketing assets.
  • Use technology and software packages to support day to day activities, e.g., stakeholder communications, development of briefs, data analysis, report writing, presentations and project management.
  • Identify and use data and technologies to achieve marketing objectives.
  • Monitor and amend campaigns to meet budget requirements including time and monetary costs.
  • Review campaigns regularly to ensure effectiveness, to optimise the results.

Your training plan

Working towards your Multi-Channel Marketer Level 3 Qualification, you’ll attend monthly 1-2-1 meetings (online via teams every month - NO classroom OR college!) with your tutor and learn about the modules including marketing methods, principles & practices, business organisation & copywriting, campaign implementation & management, IT & digital tools, and more! You will be given a minimum of 3 hours per week to complete any apprenticeship work (assignments, research, and projects) and will receive at least another 3 hours of training from your employer. All apprenticeship work and training is completed in the workplace, during working hours.
