Within Reach Services are looking for 20 new Child & Young People Support Worker apprentices. You will be studying toward your Children, Young People and Families Practitioner (Level 4).

5 Days per week - (Working 2 weekends out of 4 on a rota basis, Includes early mornings, long days, waking nights and sleep-ins) Main Service hours are: 7am-3pm, 3pm-10pm, 10pm-7am. Some of our other service hours are: 8am-8pm, 8pm-8am.

Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

To act as a positive role model and team member.
To facilitate effective communication within the staff team To participate in planning and delivering quality care and support for service users
Support day-to-day delivery of care and support to people using services

It has an Ofsted Grade 2 Good rating and an overall achievement rate of 71.4%, exceeding the national average of 65.6%. Using a blended approach, learners are always at the forefront of our priorities. All learners are assigned a Personal Tutor who will be their main point of contact.

This involves regular catch-ups, check-in emails and calls. Your employer will agree to give you 20% of your working hours solely towards your studies.

This will give you every chance to achieve the highest grade possible! On completion of this 24-month apprenticeship you will have gained: Children, Young People and Families Practitioner (Level 4).

Other requirements

Working hours Please note that anyone under the age of 18 can only work a maximum of 40 hours per week. Any role which exceeds these hours should be amended accordingly, to fall in line with the legislation.
