Summary
Platinum Stairlifts are looking for a driven and enthusiastic apprentice to join their company. As an apprentice you will be providing support to manufacturing improvement initiatives applying lean methodologies and thinking.

Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
- Carry out time studies of production processes and analyse current production processes.
- Identify potential areas for improvement in manufacturing and help implement quick win initiatives to help reduce waste within manufacturing.
- Record videos for Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and carry out editing ready for release.
- Document control and release of SOPs, working with team leaders to make modifications and get approval.
- Work as a team on continuous improvement projects, including automation, tooling improvements and machinery.
- Learn about waste, lean manufacturing principles and line balancing to help maximise output from the factory.
