Summary

You will work within an agile team, learning the latest in development software technologies and methods to support the team in delivering our Travel Assistant solution to customers. You will undertake activities on rotations that will develop your expertise across product and project management, analysis and software development.

Work

Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.

What you'll do at work

  • Help manage and prioritise incoming service desk issues, ensuring they are correctly linked to EPICs and release versions.
  • Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and prioritisation sessions.
  • Contribute ideas and feedback to improve user interface and user experience designs for new product features.
  • Assist in capturing, refining, and prioritising new product requirements.
  • Support the ongoing maintenance of the product backlog, adding and updating requirements from product and deployment review sessions.
  • Assist with onboarding new customers, ensuring product setups meets their needs.
  • Translate customer requirements into accurate system configurations.
  • Work closely with the Client Development team to deliver product instances.
  • Learn and use tools such as JSON and MongoDB to support more complex product setups.
  • Carry out quality assurance checks on new features and bug fixes.
  • Perform regression testing to ensure consistency across different software environments and releases.
  • Support the administration, document writing and product development of live projects.
  • Help create and update customer-facing product documentation and information pages.

Where you'll work

We operate as a remote-first team, with the option to use co-located office spaces in Birmingham, Sheffield, and London for collaboration when needed. Training for the Level 6 Digital and Technology Solutions Professional Degree Apprenticeship is scheduled to begin at the University of Warwick in October 2026. The apprentice must therefore be able to attend the university as required. However, we are open to exploring alternative training providers if the same course is offered more locally.
