Estio Training has an exciting new opportunity for a Web Developer with Stage Two in Manchester.

Stage Two are a highly skilled team of digital designers and developers. We believe in working collaboratively with our clients and partners to deliver quality digital experiences to the highest standards. The opportunity which we are offering to the appropriate candidate will allow them to develop into a skilled and valued member of the team, while learning and contributing to a range of digital projects, and the potential to continue on with the company upon the completion of the apprenticeship.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Working with the creative teams to develop digital concepts for clients
  • Using SDL Tridion to manage web content
  • Using/training in HTML, CSS and JavaScript with the possibility of learning other languages while working
  • Researching future technologies which may be valuable to the company
  • Demonstrating skills through coding with training support
  • Supporting team members in a range of tasks and projects as they arise

Training provider

The Estio Training IT Apprenticeship programme gives people the opportunity to get hands on experience in the IT industry whilst still employed in a real paid job with no cost or debt.

Learners will receive 9-11 weeks of intensive training. Whilst in the workplace, apprentices will also receive continual assessment, and help and guidance from a dedicated trainer who will be there to ensure that they get the most from their work experience.

Training will lead to industry-recognised qualifications including:

  • Advanced apprenticeship for IT, Software, Web and Telecoms Professionals
  • Level 3 Diploma in Professional
  • Competence for IT and Telecoms Professionals
  • BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in ICT Systems and Principles

Apprenticeship National Minimum Wage (ANMW): The National Minimum Wage for Apprentices is £3.30 per hour (From October 1st 2016 this will be increasing by 3% to £3.40 per hour). This is the legal minimum pay per hour applying to 16-18 year old apprentices and those aged 19 and over in the first year of their apprenticeship. For apprentices 19 or over who have completed their first year and are continuing their apprenticeship, the National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies.
