About the employer

The Oskar Pink boutique salon was born when founder Stavros Konstantinou realised there was a need for hairdressers that offered an alternative to corporate chain outlets. The name derived from an ironic poke at celebrity hairdressers who brand salons using there own name, this led to the name ‘Oskar Pink’, a fictitious personality which reflects the macho yet camp stereotype of the egotistic flamboyant hairdresser.

Stavros used a creative direction to counter the sterile, generic image of high street. Our philosophy is based on honest retailing. Over the years corporate salon chains have flooded Britain’s high streets. Oskar Pink is the antidote to this kind of drab uniformity.
