    Wages explained

    The current National Minimum Wage for an apprentice is £3.50 an hour. This rate applies to apprentices under 19 and those aged 19 or over who are in their first year.
    Apprentices must be paid at least the minimum wage rate for their age if they are aged 19 or over and have completed their first year.
    The minimum wage rates are £5.60 an hour for 18-20 year olds and £7.05 for anyone aged 21 and over.
    Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that’s part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).

Leagus are a video production company. Our specialism is that we are great with people. We put them at ease so they can look great on camera. We then share our clients videos so they can be seen and grow their business.
We’re looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic and ambitious candidate looking to launch their career in marketing / video production. Built around the Digital Marketing Apprentice program they would form the role of a Marketing Administrator to join an established team and support the growth of the business. The candidate will work in our Huddersfield office and will experience an array of all things digital.

Duties and Responsibilities

- To develop and maintain professional relationships with clients
- Keen involvement in relevant research, digital advancements and emerging technologies
- Online and off line activities
- Following Marketing Plans
- To actively participate in training as directed to develop and enhance the company brand in accordance with the growth plan
- Updating established Social Media Accounts
- General administrative duties including record keeping and analytics.
- Answering the telephone in a professional and helpful manner
- Drafting promotional emails
- Content creation, gathering industry research and composing blog post
- Analysing internal marketing efforts and suggesting improvements

Training provider

The Estio Training IT Apprenticeship programme gives people the opportunity to get hands on experience in the IT industry whilst still employed in a real paid job with no cost or debt.

Learners will receive Eight weeks of intensive training. Whilst in the workplace, apprentices will also receive continual assessment, and help and guidance from a dedicated trainer who will be there to ensure that they get the most from their work experience.

Apprenticeship National Minimum Wage (ANMW): The National Minimum Wage for Apprentices is £3.30 per hour (From October 1st 2016 this will be increasing by 3% to £3.40 per hour). This is the legal minimum pay per hour applying to 16-18 year old apprentices and those aged 19 and over in the first year of their apprenticeship. For apprentices 19 or over who have completed their first year and are continuing their apprenticeship, the National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies.
