If you're an A-Level student then we have an exciting opportunity for a Business Administration Apprentice to join them at Primary Diets in Ripon, a division of AB Agri Ltd the Agriculture Group of Associated British Foods plc.

Primary Diets is a UK based dedicated manufacturer and supplier of specialist piglet pre-starter and starter feeds throughout Europe. The business has been built on a reputation for high quality, high performance diets to maximise post-weaning performance. Coupled with excellent customer service, a refusal to compromise on quality and a continuous research and development programme, Primary has become one of the market leaders in the industry.

As a Business Administration apprentice you will cover all aspects of the day to day office roles, building up experience alongside your studies.

Initially the role will involve general office administration such as answering the telephones, recording holiday, dealing with post and stationary orders. You will also be trained and take on further responsibility working on the following:

  • Purchase Ledger
  • Invoicing
  • Raw Materials intake
  • Systems testing and development
  • Customer Service
  • Production Planning

You';ll also gain some great exposure to the business and as part of our friendly Customer Support team you';ll work alongside our operations, logistics and commercial teams to help maintain our professional, customer-focused interface more broadly in the business too.

The National Minimum Wage (NMW) rate for apprentices is �3.30 per hour. This applies to 16-18 year old apprentices and those aged over 19 in the first year of their Apprenticeship. For all other apprentices the National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies. The Minimum Wage for Apprentices applies to time spent on the job plus time spent training.
