Estio Training has an exciting new opportunity for an IT Support Apprentice with Liquid Bronze based in Manchester.
Specialists in business software systems, Liquid Bronze helps businesses by providing bespoke software development to manage processes and workflow management. It also has a number of products it can supply and customise. They work in paper and process heavy sectors, fleet management, and have developed Malinko Scheduling Software to manage and schedule people and vehicles.

Liquid are a small friendly company that provide web-based scheduling software mainly to the care sector in the UK, and are looking for a talented IT Customer Support apprentice to join their growing team.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Answering phone calls from existing customers.
  • Reading & responding to support emails.
  • Training customers on using the software by telephone.
  • Maintaining customer support knowledge base.

Requirements and prospects

Personal qualities

 

  • Familiar & comfortable using web browsers
  • Good telephone manner
  • Good written communication skills
  • Patience working with customers who are not technologically minded.

Qualifications required

 

  • Minimum 5 GCSE’s Grade C+ (including Maths)
  • Computing related college qualification (if appropriate)
  • A-Levels (Computing, Maths, Business Studies - if appropriate)

Training provider

The Estio Training IT Apprenticeship programme gives young people the opportunity to get hands on experience in the IT industry whilst still employed in a real paid job with no cost or debt.

Learners will receive nine weeks of intensive training. Whilst in the workplace, apprentices will also receive continual assessment, and help and guidance from a dedicated trainer who will be there to ensure that they get the most from their work experience.

Training will lead to industry-recognised qualifications including:

  • Advanced apprenticeship for IT, Software, Web and Telecoms Professionals
  • Level 3 Diploma in Professional
  • Competence for IT and Telecoms Professionals
  • BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in ICT Systems and Principles
  • Functional skills, Maths L2, English L2 and ICT L2
  • PLTS and ERR
