Due to business expansion an exciting opportunity has arisen for an ICT Apprentice to join our dynamic team.
The Pure Data Group includes successful IT Solutions companies providing services to a varied customer base, from SME to corporate customers across the UK.
This is an opportunity to join a successful company at the right time, ahead of further growth, and be instrumental in developing and guiding technical excellence.

Responsibilities for the role include:
  • ICT Support – first line hardware, software and communications
  • System development on Group systems
  • Report creation, generation and distribution.

Requirements and prospects

Personal qualities

  • A keen interest in ICT and general technology
  • A natural affinity and capability in technology, ideally in software development
  • Some work-related or further education project experience in ICT.

 

Qualifications required

5 GCSE’s at grades A*- C or equivalent (including English Language and Maths),

Future prospects

Training provider

The Estio Training IT Apprenticeship programme gives young people the opportunity to get hands on experience in the IT industry whilst still employed in a real paid job with no cost or debt.

Learners will receive 8 weeks of intensive training. Whilst in the workplace, apprentices will also receive continual assessment, and help and guidance from a dedicated trainer who will be there to ensure that they get the most from their work experience.

Training will lead to industry-recognised qualifications including:
  • Advanced apprenticeship for IT, Software, Web and Telecoms Professionals
  • Level 3 Diploma in Professional
  • Competence for IT and Telecoms Professionals
  • BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in ICT Systems and Principles
  • Functional skills, Maths L2, English L2 and ICT L2
  • PLTS and ERR

The National Minimum Wage (NMW) rate for apprentices is £3.30 per hour from the 1st October 2015. This applies to 16-18 year old apprentices and those aged over 19 in the first year of their Apprenticeship. For all other apprentices the National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies. The Minimum Wage for Apprentices applies to time spent on the job plus time spent training.
