The successful apprentice will be trained to provide customers with a professional; efficient maintenance and repair service across a range of printers working on both the hardware and software elements..

As part of the field service team; you responsible for managing your work load ensuring a high level of productivity; speedy customer response times; first time fix rate and stock management.

Duties you will be involved in but not limited to will include:

  • To develop the skills to provide a technical service to customers; including installation; maintenance and repair of equipment ensuring customers receive a satisfactory service at all times
  • Management and control of vehicle and stock; resulting in the ability to fix the problem through first visit
  • Manage used stock returns to ensure maximum throughput into the repair cycle
  • Develop service and repair skills to effectively repair customer equipment maintaining the highest levels first time fix
  • Excellent customer care; ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
The ideal candidate must hold a FULL UK DRIVING LICENCE due to the nature of this role.

The successful candidate will be expected to work 5 days per week including weekends; your starting salary will be 12-13K rising to 17-18K on successful completion of the apprenticeship. Company van and fuel card is included; not including private use.

Qualifications required

  • Preferably 5 GCSEs (A-C) or equivalent/predicted

The National Minimum Wage (NMW) for Apprentices is £3.30 per hour. This applies to 16-18 year old Apprentices and those aged 19 and over in the first year of their Apprenticeship. For all other Apprentices the National Minimum Wage appropriate to their age applies. The wage for Apprentices applies to both time spent on the job plus time spent training.
