Apprentice Food & Beverage Assistant

Apprentices must be paid at least the minimum wage rate for their age if they are aged 19 or over and have completed their first year.
The minimum wage rates are £5.60 an hour for 18-20 year olds and £7.05 for anyone aged 21 and over.
Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that’s part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).

Intermediate Level Apprenticeship
Your role will include:
- Serving the customers
- Clearing tables
- Learning about stock rotation and dating everything when it comes in from the suppliers
- Making batter and mushy peas
- Cooking curry sauce
- Using the till
- Some cleaning duties
Requirements and prospects
Good communication skills.
Willing to learn, reliable and like talking to people.
No previous qualifications required.
You will be working towards a full time position should one be available at the end of your Apprenticeship.
Things to consider
You will be required to work evenings and weekends.

The current National Minimum Wage for Apprentices is £3.30 per hour. This applies to 16-18 year old Apprentices and those aged over 19 in the first year of their Apprenticeship. For all other Apprentices the National Minimum Wage appropriate to their age applies. The Minimum Wage for Apprentices applies to time spent on the job plus time spent training.
