Overview of responsibilities:

  • To produce sales rate sheets for sending to customers
  • To analyse buy rates sheets from Suppliers
  • To create the Sales push list and communicate to customers
  • To create the Buy list for suppliers
  • Check reports with Trade Advice Notes
  • Update the text on the companies websites
  • Maintain Google Analytics on websites
  • To monitor online supplier systems to check rates available from key suppliers such as IDT, Voxbeam
  • To print and file all sales invoices and trade advices in the monthly trade file
  • Other Ad-hoc duties as directed by the line manager
  • To demonstrate an on-going willingness to learn , develop and improve
  • To maintain a professional appearance at all times
  • To maintain high levels of attendance and time keeping
  • Be responsible for keeping the work station tidy and organised

From the 1st October 2015 a National Minimum Wage (NMW) for apprentices has been introduced for young people aged 16-18 and those aged 19 and over in the first year of their Apprenticeship. The new rate is £3.30 per hour. The new NMW applies to time working plus time spent training as this is also part of the Apprenticeship. Anyone not covered by the age category above will be entitled to the NMW appropriate to their age.

Training on the Apprenticeships Programme for 16 to 18 year olds is a priority and fully-funded by Government. Training for Apprenticeships for those over this age is part funded, with employers expected to make a part or full contribution
