We are looking for Business Administration Apprentice to join our energetic Customer Service & Finance team based in Templecombe, Somerset. Your role will be to provide an efficient and effective administration support to the team.

It is most likely that there will be a full time position evolving in Customer Service / Finance for the suitable candidate. It is essential that the applicants have a positive and creative attitude to work and can fit into a small hard working team.

What will I do?

  • You will provide effective communication and support, setting high standards to help achieve excellence within your role and across the Company.
  • The role will require an ability to prioritise a varied workload and solve problems. It is essential that you also have a good telephone manner and can communicate professionally at all times.

The apprentice role will include but is not limited to the following duties:

  • Dealing with day-to-day queries
  • Call handling
  • Supporting the finance team to raise invoices and orders
  • Inputting information into a database
  • General administrative support for the department manager and team

Skills Required:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Competent at using Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Work as part of a team and independently
  • Ability to take instruction and carry out tasks efficiently and to a high standard
  • Good time keeping

We despatch goods to our customers from website and retail show orders and we despatch goods for our trade customers. Other information

The National Minimum Wage (NMW) rate for apprentices is £3.30 per hour. This applies to 16-18 year old apprentices and those aged over 19 in the first year of their Apprenticeship. For all other apprentices the National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies.

The Minimum Wage for Apprentices applies to time spent on the job plus time spent training.

Training on the Apprenticeships Programme for 16 to 18 year olds is a priority and fully-funded by Government. Training for Apprenticeships for those over this age is part funded, with employers expected to make a part or full contribution.
