Estio Training has a brand new opportunity for an IT – Developer/Programmer apprentice in Stockport.

This company are looking for an enthusiastic, proactive member of our development team 7 miles within the location. The applicant should be positive, with a keen interest in IT Software.

They are a leading software House in the vending industry. Our aim is to create innovative, original and pioneering software specifically designed for the vending Industry from the operating staff right through to the Management Team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining procedures and documents
  • Trouble shooting
  • Data processing
  • Website maintenance and modifications
  • Designing bespoke applications
  • Mobile application development
  • General data maintenance

Benefits:

  • £50.00 per month will be contributed towards your travel costs each month

Training provider

The Estio Training IT Apprenticeship programme gives young people the opportunity to get hands on experience in the IT industry whilst still employed in a real paid job with no cost or debt.

Learners will receive eleven weeks of intensive training. Whilst in the workplace, apprentices will also receive continual assessment, and help and guidance from a dedicated trainer who will be there to ensure that they get the most from their work experience.

Training will lead to industry-recognised qualifications including:

  • Advanced apprenticeship for IT, Software, Web and Telecoms Professionals
  • Level 3 Diploma in Professional
  • Competence for IT and Telecoms Professionals
  • BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in ICT Systems and Principles
  • Functional skills, Maths L2, English L2 and ICT L2
  • PLTS and ERR
  • CompTIA A+

The National Minimum Wage (NMW) rate for apprentices is £3.30 per hour from the 1st October 2015. This applies to 16-18 year old apprentices and those aged over 19 in the first year of their Apprenticeship. For all other apprentices the National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies. The Minimum Wage for Apprentices applies to time spent on the job plus time spent training.
