Intermediate Level Apprenticeship
- Assist stylists
- meet and greet clients
- shampoo/condition hair
- keep salon tidy
- make teas and coffees for clients.
- Attend training sessions within the salon and at college to learn basic skills in hairdressing.

- GCSE A-C Grade in English and Maths desirable but not essential or equivalent
Complete apprenticeship at NVQ Level 2 and progress to junior stylist within salon.
Possible opportunity to further own skills by completing Barbering NVQ level 2 and/or Hairdressing NVQ Level 3.

Vacancy for candidate requires physical work.
Training sessions in salon on models.
Day release to college for training at Central Hairdressing Academy.

- Full in-house training to be provided by the employer alongside attending Joshua Galvin Academy to complete your qualification.

The National Minimum Wage (NMW) rate for apprentices is £3.30 per hour from the 1st October 2015. This applies to 16-18 year old apprentices and those aged over 19 in the first year of their Apprenticeship. For all other apprentices the National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies. The Minimum Wage for Apprentices applies to time spent on the job plus time spent training
