This role is to provide support to the accounts management and administrative support services.

  • You main duties will include loading/checking landlords and tenant details onto the client accounts computer system and ensuring all charges for fees are correctly raised.
  • You will also be processing the renewal of tenancies, processing termination of tenancies, processing return of deposits and processing rets received.
  • You will be dealing with lots of enquiries within the finance department.You will be responding to queries via letter/email and making sure that these are completed in a timely manner.
  • You will be producing statements for landlords detailing transactions on accounts and dealing with tax returns.
  • All other admin duties will be included, this will include imputing data, answering phone calls, faxing and filling when necessary.

Training provider

Full Business Administration Apprenticeship incorporating:

  • NVQ where evidence will be gathered to build a portfolio showing your competency within the role,
  • Functional Skills to include Maths, English and IT (depending on award and previous qualifications) where a tested part will be completed.
  • Some NVQ units are knowledge-based in the form of a multiple choice test.

From the 1st of October 2015 the National Minimum Wage (NMW) for apprentices for young people aged 16 – 18 and those aged over 19 in the first year of the Apprenticeship will be £3.30 per hour. The new NMW applies to time working plus time spent training as this is also part of the Apprenticeship. Anyone not covered by the age category above will be entitled to the NMW appropriate to their age.
