Front of House Apprentice

Apprentices must be paid at least the minimum wage rate for their age if they are aged 19 or over and have completed their first year.
The minimum wage rates are £5.60 an hour for 18-20 year olds and £7.05 for anyone aged 21 and over.
Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that’s part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).

Things to consider
Applicants need to be aware that they will be working in a busy environment and it is a physically demanding job role. You will spend most of your time on your feet.
You may be required to work varying shifts including weekends, evenings and bank holidays.

- Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Food & Beverage Services
- Level 2 Certificate in Hospitality and Catering Principles (Food & Beverage Services)
- Level 1 Functional Skills in Mathematics and English
- Employment Rights and Responsibilities
- Personal Learning & Thinking skills
- (Work based learning)

The current National Minimum Wage (NMW) rate for apprentices is £3.30per hour. This applies to 16-18 year old apprentices and those aged over 19 in the first year of their Apprenticeship. For all other apprentices the National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies. The Minimum Wage for Apprentices applies to time spent on the job plus time spent training.
