About the employer

Waverton House Day Nursery was founded by Tracey Jenkins, a child minder with over 20 years experience in the child care sector.

Her love of caring for children and her belief  that every child should experience the best possible start in life has led her to start up her own nursery.

Waverton House is a beautiful period property that has been specifically designed to the latest OFSTED standards to provide excellent childcare provision. It is designed to be a place where children feel safe, secure and nurtured in a homely and loving environment.

The property has been fully adapted to stimulate and capture your child’s imagination. The entire decor is fun and inviting with age appropriate toys and learning materials; providing a rich and varied environment to support each child’s learning and development in their informative years.

Most importantly, it is our aim to safeguard the welfare of every child in our care while nurturing their individual development needs. We want the children to leave us prepared for the next stage in their education and  also with many happy memories of their time with us. We strive to create a loving and homely environment that feels like an extension of their home. Where they love to come and play, have fun and where parents feel reassured to leave them.

We ensure parents and carers are kept fully informed of their child’s progress and always feel welcome at Waverton House Day Nursery, we have an open door policy in practice. Our parents are encouraged through our Parent Partnership Programme to share information about their child, participate in events and activities and provide us with constructive feedback, so we can continually maintain high standards of quality childcare.
