Wage

£14,526.20 to £23,492.04, depending on your age

National Minimum Wage

Wage will be £8, £10 or £12.50 dependent on age bracket. Reviewed after 6 months.

Work

Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.

What you'll do at work

Your day to day duties will include:

  • Checking orders – making sure everything looks right and meets our quality standards
  • Packing orders – carefully and securely packing up dancewear ready to be sent out
  • Despatching orders – using shipping software like Royal Mail and DPD to process parcels
  • Picking stock – grabbing the right items from our shelves for each order
  • Using our systems – updating orders and keeping things organised
  • Receiving deliveries – checking goods in and putting them away in the right place
  • Helping keep the workspace tidy and organised

  • Load and unload products, considering the product that is to be moved and its current and planned destination.
  • Use tools and equipment to aid in product handling.
  • Use information technology and digital systems. Comply with GDPR and cyber security.
  • Locate and use operational information, electronic or paper based, required to fulfil contractual requirements.
  • Select, prepare, and use packaging materials that reduce waste and mitigate environmental impacts.
  • support under instruction scheduled and unscheduled stock taking activities relevant to the organisation and product.
  • Identify and escalate problems beyond own responsibility.
  • Follow procedures in line with environmental and sustainability regulations, standards, and guidance. Segregate resources for reuse, recycling and disposal.
  • Follow equity, diversity and inclusion rules.
  • Carry out and record learning and development activities.

Your training plan

  • In addition to gaining practical experience in the role, you will also attain an NVQ Level 2 Supply Chain qualification which will help start your career and give you an insight into the businesses processes and procedures
  • Our training is all completed remotely via teams with a development coach who will be available for support 24/7 and will arrange weekly/fortnightly meetings with you
  • You receive 20% off-the-job training during this apprenticeship which is included in your weekly working hours

GCSE in:

Maths & English (grade C/4 or above)
