What you will do in your working day

  • Assist with the day-to-day administration of the UK, Irish & Australian staff payrolls.
  • This will include assisting with the on and off boarding process for employees within the organisation.
  • Work closely with the HR team to capture and process all contractual amendments with a given payroll period.
  • Assist the Management Accountancy team with the calculation of variable earnings, e.g., sales commission.
  • Compiling payroll data and producing payroll reports in line with business requirements. 
  • Assist with the preparation of the monthly payment runs to ensure that all staff are compensated accurately and on time.
  • Support with all payroll questions and queries.
  • To ensure that all statutory returns are prepared and remitted on time. 
  • Support with the preparation of all month end journals & reconciliations.
  • To ensure all benefits are applied correctly, including pension and healthcare insurance provision.
  • To assist with the staff business expense claims and remuneration.
  • General ad-hoc projects and reporting.

Payroll administrator Level 3.

A 100% tailored training and assessment program will be delivered to support you throughout your Apprenticeship, (21 months including endpoint assessment) topics covered include:
