We are looking for a talent to join our Retail HR Team, who will support the team in delivering a comprehensive HR service, including supporting on administrative tasks and employee relations, in addition to any ADHOC projects. What you will do in your working day

The role will include:

  • Support and work closely with the Retail HR Team to ensure a seamless and compliant HR Service to the business, including but not limited to staying up to date with changing legislation
  • Build strong relationships with the business, including Retail Management and Beauty Consultants across Dior, UK & Ireland
  • Work with the team to improve relevant processes, policies and reporting, keeping the business at the heart of it
  • Embrace LVMH & Dior values, staying up to date with the companies goals & mission’s

Main Responsibilites:

  • Support in the management of the Retail HR mailbox, responding to queries in a timely manner and as required

  • Lead the Induction Process for new Beauty Consultants joining the business, including but not limited to sending the welcome email and hosting the induction call 

  • Support with Employee Relation cases, including but not limited to Probations, Investigations & Disciplinaries 

  • Support on all administrative tasks, including but not limited to Retail References. In addition, maintaining all data in our systems to ensure 100% compliance with GDPR

  • Assist with the completion of HR reports and analysis of HR KPIs and trends

  • Support the HR team through projects, taking ownership of tasks and providing creative input, including working on Retail Communications

  • Oversee Retail Recruitment with the Talent Acquisition Business Partner and work closely with Retail Management

  • Previous experience is relevant to this position

This list is not exhaustive, and you will be expected to perform different tasks as necessitated by the manager which are relevant to your role within the company to meet the overall business needs.

The training you will be getting

As a Level 5 People Professional apprentice, you will complete the following qualifications as part of your apprenticeship:

  • People Professional Level 5 Apprenticeship Standard qualification
  • You will also develop the skills, knowledge and behaviours required to work within an office environment
  • This apprenticeship is delivered in the workplace and 6 hours a week of your working time will be dedicated towards training and learning new skills
  • You will be allocated a tutor who will provide you with personal support and assessment at pre-arranged times
  • Assessment is through a variety of methods including observations in the workplace, witness testimonies, product evidence and professional discussions
  • All evidence will be logged to your electronic portfolio

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

Minimum 2 Years Fixed Term, you will learn and study in order to achieve your Level 5 qualification. After the apprenticeship, you will be a fully qualified HR/People Professional and can seek employment within the industry.

Things to consider

Ensure you can travel to the place of work on a daily basis. Read the job description in full to ensure you can answer the questions in full. The apprentice needs to be organised and have good time management to manage a variety of tasks. Having a good understanding of Parfums Christian Dior is a must, along with the LVMH Group. Having had experience within either retail or hospitality is a welcomed bonus in this role. Previous experience is relevant to this position.
