What you will do in your working day

  • Sourcing and booking a wide range of learning interactions across three sites
  • Administration of our digital learning management platform
  • Ensuring our Learning and Development projects are aligned with our strategic objectives, and our internal talent has the capability needed for the future
  • Sourcing, booking and monitoring effectiveness of external training courses. Tracking external training spend
  • Building a flexible learning culture through the promotion of digital learning and virtual training
  • Utilising various methods of training and coaching including workshops, one on one, group and formal training sessions
  • Inspect the retention of knowledge, skills and behaviours trained and help through remedial actions to close gaps
  • Advise on delivery tools to optimise training effectiveness
  • Ensure training is evidencable and auditable by certifying learners to a minimum standard and maintaining learning records
  • Responsible for the learning administration processes working to ensure learning efficency and effectiveness
  • Comply with all Workplace Health and Safety policies and procedures

The training you will be getting

The candidate will complete an apprenticeship within the agreed
subject for the vacancy. This may include a BTEC
Diploma/Standard and End Point Assessment. It may also
include Functional Skills in maths and English.

The apprentice will achieve a Level 3 Learning and Development Practioner Apprenticeship Standard.

Full induction given including face to face and digital sessions plus chce to visit and gain experience of operational sites. 22 mandatory CPD approved courses delivered through our digital learning platform each year and access to additional digital learning. Opportunity to attend learning, HR and technology conferences. 

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

Opportunity to become permanent Learning & Development Officer for all UK entities. Moving into content creation and delivery including creating digital learning programmes and face to face sessions.

Things to consider

This is an on site role based at our head office in Park Royal, NW10. There maybe occasional requirement to travel to one of our offices in Wimbledon SW19. Both offices are served by good transport links.
