What you will do in your working day

About the role:

This will be a varied role to include customer service, liaising on the telephone and via email with customers, general administration tasks, diary management, and booking appointments.

The main responsibilities of the job are: 

  • Supporting the team in organising and running the reception desk
  • Liaising with clients and their customers
  • Dealing with incoming & outgoing post 
  • Managing several email addresses daily  
  • Answering incoming calls for different businesses 
  • Taking accurate messages and directing all enquiries as appropriate 
  • Making outgoing calls where necessary 
  • General administration when required by client (using Word/Excel or Google Docs/Sheets) 

Salary range is between £13,312 to £18,720


The training you will be getting

  • Training with Milton Keynes College.
  • Ongoing training, support and development with the employer.
  • Business Administrator Level 3.
  • First Aid/Fire Training (when due).

To be eligible for this apprenticeship, you must meet the following residency criteria: You must have lived in the UK, the British Overseas Territories, or Crown Dependencies (Channel Islands and Isle of Man) for at least three years prior to the start of the apprenticeship.

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

The skills you learn during this apprenticeship are transferrable to many careers such as; Personal Assistant, HR, Team Leaders, and Project Planning.
