    After 12 months the rate of pay will increase to the national minimum wage dependent on age.

    Monday to Friday, 8.00am - 4.00pm, with 30 minute lunch.

    Total hours per week: 37.5

What you will do in your working day

Manufacturing and maintaining injection mould tools using the

  • Manual & CNC machining (milling/turning).
  • Bench work & Assembly techniques.
  • Cad Cam software.
  • Electrical discharge machining.

The training you will be getting

You will achieve the following qualifications upon successful completion of the apprenticeship.

  • Level 3 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering 
  • Functional skills maths Level 2 (if required)
  • Functional skills English Level 2 (if required)

Training will take place once a week at Strode College.

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

  • If all qualifications are achieved, the apprentice will be given the opportunity to remain as an employee with the possibility of promotion to Toolmaker Manager or Engineering Manager.
