Summary

We are looking for an apprentice to learn a wide range of engineering skills to become a qualified Toolmaker. You must be enthusiastic and passionate about starting a career in engineering.

Annual wage
£14,430 a year

The pay may be negotiated and may rise after a probation period has been successfully completed.

Engineering technician (level 3)
Hours
Monday to Friday, 8.00am - 4.00pm, with 30 minute lunch.

Work

As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.

What you’ll do at work

You will achieve the following qualifications upon successful completion of the apprenticeship.

  • Level 3 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering 
  • Functional skills maths Level 2 (if required)
  • Functional skills English Level 2 (if required)

Training will take place once a week at Strode College.

After this apprenticeship

  • If all qualifications are achieved, the apprentice will be given the opportunity to remain as an employee with the possibility of promotion to Toolmaker Manager or Engineering Manager.
