What you will do in your working day

Duties will include:

  • Supporting the daily routine of the nursery
  • Provide a fun, safe and nurturing environment
  • Working as a team
  • Implement and deliver the curriculum
  • Build relationships and liaise closely with parents and other professionals involved with the care of the children
  • Respecting the confidentiality and privacy of information

The training you will be getting

  • Early Years Practitioner Level 2
  • English Functional Skills if required
  • Maths Functional Skills if required

Training will take place at Strode College, and we will be managing the applications.

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

A permanent position may be available upon successful completion of the apprenticeship.

Things to consider

We are a very busy nursery, and all staff will undertake all the duties that are required. We work as a close team and expect everyone to help and support each other.

About the employer

We have created an engaging and homely setting for the children that attend Fairfield Montessori School, we are split over four classrooms and have an extensive outdoor area. It is incredibly important to us that the children feel safe and engaged whilst preparing them for primary school. We are very proud of our loving and knowledgeable staff, who have had experience working with all age groups. Kate, the owner and manager has worked in childcare for the past 30 years and has been successfully running Fairfield Montessori School since 2010
