Summary
An exciting opportunity to develop coaching skills within the community has become available. We work with people of all ages, mainly children in a wide variety of settings, no two days will be the same. Not only will you develop coaching skills you will also learn basic business administration and planning, supported by experiences coaches.

Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
- Upon completion, the apprentice with gain a Community Activator Coach Standard Level 2 qualification
- All training will take place in business’ premises located in the community café, and also community settings

About this company
MK Youth Sports CIC was set up in 2021 with a vision to offer services to families who are struggling with poverty, children and adults with additional needs and disabilities. With a personal experience with barriers to fitness, director of the company Samantha, decided to bring her knowledge of athletics to the local community. Today, the company has grown and expanded across several areas of Chester Le Street & Durham. MK Youth continues to grow and develop new exciting sports and activities, as well as performing arts subjects being added to our provisions. We are a supportive, caring and welcoming company, who are passionate about providing the best possible activities across our communities.
