What you will do in your working day

Duties include but not limited to:

Managing Customer Expectations

  • Develop communication, administration and IT skills to manage customer enquiries including maintaining files and records
  • Liaise and build relationships with potential and existing clients and suppliers/contractors
  • Assist in managing sites/clients in line with the agreements and contracts including health and safety
  • Assist with liaising with colleagues in planning and co-ordinating works and meetings
  • Liaise with colleagues as necessary in managing the site

Managing Site Requirements

  • Identify site issues and manage to conclusion including identifying the need for a contractor and determine the urgency of the job.
  • Manage sites within agreed budget and liaise with colleagues/clients as necessary
  • Develop an understanding of contracts and limitations
  • Identifying works requiring a S20 process and assist in the process involved
  • Liaise with contractors/clients/colleagues to ensure excellent communication and service is provided to manage expectations.
  • Assist in due diligence checks and handover processes
  • Ensure all insurances are in place and certificate are on the system
  • Assist in managing periodic and scheduled works
  • Assist in managing insurance claims as necessary

Administration

  • Deal with telephone/email enquiries appropriately, ensure everything is documented and recorded and followed up to conclusion
  • Data Protection management
  • Assist in management of both paper and electronic filing systems
  • Assist in managing the email notification system

The training you will be getting

  • Business administrator level 3 standard apprenticeship qualification
  • Bi-weekly blended learning sessions
  • Weekly off the job training
  • Functional Skills in maths and English, if required
