What you will do in your working day

We are looking for a dedicated mechanic apprentice to join our team. You will be working under our experienced Mechanics to learn the trade and advance your career. To be successful as a mechanic apprentice, you should be good with your hands and have strong attention to detail. Ultimately, a top-notch mechanic apprentice has a good understanding of mechanics and great customer service skills. Key Responsibilities include: - Perform routine automotive maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake replacements - Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical issues with vehicles - Use power tools and hand tools to disassemble, assemble, and maintain vehicle parts - Weld and fabricate components as needed - Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot problems and provide effective solutions - Repair and maintain automotive equipment following schematics and technical manuals - Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs and maintenance needs.

The training you will be getting

Autocare Technician Level 2 Apprenticeship Standard. On job training with experienced mechanics.

Functional Skills English and Maths if required.

Will attend college in Northbrook, Worthing.
