    Apprentice rate of £6.40 per hour with an increase to NMW rate for aged 18 and over on completion of the first year.

What you will do in your working day

  • Providing general administration support to the team
  • Answering the phone, receiving visitors etc.
  • Booking of hotel accommodation and travel arrangements
  • Co-ordination of and booking meetings
  • Maintaining organised files and records of business activity
  • Assisting the Head of Department, Quantity Surveyor and Estimator

  • Training will be at Doncaster College where you will access a wide range of facilities on offer
  • Day release  
  • Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship standard
  • You will undertake Functional Skills for English and/or maths if needed 
  • You will undertake both on and off the job training by a team of industry-qualified professionals to give you the best skills, knowledge, and experience

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

  • Successful completion of the apprenticeship could lead to a higher-level apprenticeship or full-time employment for the right candidate. The role is the ideal entry point to Administration and serves as a pathway to progress within the business as a Trainee Quantity Surveyor or Trainee Estimator
  • You will also develop skills required to work in an office setting, working in a supportive environment
