As our Business Administrator Apprentice you will provide support to our Head of Careers and Assistant Headteacher, Personal Development. This is a busy and varied role which will include working on Careers, Marketing, Website and Social Media.

What you will do in your working day
Employability
- Aid in the coordination of a range of employability events and activities. To include, but not limited to; Work Experience, Focus Days, mock interview days, Graduate Showcase, Apprenticeship and Careers Fairs. These tasks will include working alongside SLT and Heads of Year as well as external agencies.
- Signposting pupils to internal and external events and activities which support independent career guidance and aspirations.
- Coordinate Work Experience programmes for Year 10 and Lower Sixth pupils and other activities such as CV workshops. Organise and support relevant and supportive work placements for niche group pupils.
- Support the administration process to a range of online resources and further information and activities that inspire young people, including but not limited to, employer talks, careers fairs, motivational speakers, college and university visits, careers coaches and mentors which includes upkeep of all year group Careers Google Classrooms.
- Work with the Sixth Form team to track, monitor and record all destinations (both post-16 and post-18) .
Promotion and Media
- Establish and manage processes using social media and website for external communications, which will include the development and implementation of a social media strategy.
- Operational aspects to include regular posts on a variety of social media platforms as agreed with Line Manager, updating the website as directed by members of SLT and ensuring it’s compliance and that information is up to date.
- Involvement in the production of both internal and external promotional material.
Alumni
- Develop and maintain an Alumni database
- Further develop and maintain the business network
Additional
- Provide statistics and reports as necessary for SLT and external bodies as required
- To support colleagues and carry out other responsibilities appropriate to grade as agreed with Line Manager
The training you will be getting

- Presentation; Practical Observation; Professional Discussion
- Fortnightly training from SS&L on Zoom
