What you will do in your working day

Working within the team and resolving issues as requested. The flexibility and responsiveness required will allow our apprentice to develop a wide range of skills.

Showing a positive attitude. The role involves demonstrating strong communication skills (both written and verbal) and adopting a proactive approach to developing skills. The business administrator is also expected to show initiative, managing priorities and own time, problem-solving skills as well as decision-making. 

Jobs may include but are not limited to: 

  • Answer and deal with telephone enquiries in a professional manner
  • Ensure customer and care worker files are kept up-to-date and all relevant information changes implemented
  • Filing of documents for customers and care workers
  • Assist Care Manager with Quality Assurance checks
  • Provide support to other office staff as required

Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard - Business Administrator:

  • Level 3 Business Administrator Standard - Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours
  • Level 2 Functional Skills in English, maths and ICT, if required (exemptions apply)
  • Delivery of training to be confirmed
