What you will do in your working day

The successful candidate will be a great team player, be able to multi-task, be accountable and trustworthy and have good computer skills with a professional approach at all times.

Daily duties:

  • Answering the telephone in a professional manner.
  • Interacting with customers whilst they are waiting in reception (making them feel very comfortable and welcome).
  • Dealing with client and front of desk queries in a professional manner.
  • Communicating via email/text/phone.
  • Working on bespoke IT systems (full training will be given).
  • Arranging appointments.
  • Ensuring a clean and presentable reception area and clinic rooms.
  • Diary management.
  • Supporting the physiotherapists with administration duties.
  • Helping to maintain and improve our customer reviews by supporting all enquiries.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills (face-to-face, telephone, in writing and digital platforms).
  • Personal organisation (be able to organise yourself, prioritise your own workload/activity and work to meet deadlines).

The training you will be getting

  • Level 2 Customer Service Practitioner Apprenticeship Standard.
  • Training will be delivered on site at Roseanna Grace Physio Ltd.
  • Level 2 Functional Skills in maths and English (if required).

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

  • This role can be a gateway to further career opportunities, such as management positions or senior support roles. Progression routes are available for the right candidate on successful completion of the apprenticeship. Roseanna Grace is passionate about training up the right candidate and pursuing this to a permanent position within her team on completion of your apprentice training.

There is parking available, but this may require a permit. Lots of local bus links in Jesmond, potential of working over two sites (7-minute walk between sites). Metro links (Jesmond and West Jesmond locally).

We are a thriving, specialist Physiotherapy clinic based in the centre of Jesmond (Metro station 5 minutes’ walk away) with nearby parking. We treat a variety of complex and specialist patients of all ages and backgrounds and no two days are ever the same! A typical caseload at this clinic of Pelvic Floor & Women’s Health conditions involves meeting patients with bladder and bowel dysfunction, pregnancy/postnatal aches and pains, men’s Health, children’s Incontinence & much more so the ideal applicant must be okay with talking and booking in patients with sensitive health needs. Roseanna Grace is a friendly practice and Roseanna’s goal is not only to welcome an apprentice to join the team in 2024, but to then hopefully be kept on permanently as a member of the expanding team!
