What you will do in your working day

Event Planning and Organisation:

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute social events and activities for employees, fostering a positive and inclusive work culture
  • Liaise with vendors, caterers, and venues to ensure seamless event logistics and execution

HR Administration:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR databases, including employee records, attendance, and performance evaluations
  • Promote HR best practices and compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Manage and review employee benefits and compensation packages, ensuring competitiveness and alignment with organisational goals

Employee Relations:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for addressing employee relations issues across the business, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions
  • Conduct investigations and provide guidance on employee grievances, ensuring fair and consistent resolution

Recruitment and Onboarding:

  • Support the recruitment process by posting job vacancies, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews
  • Coordinate new staff onboarding activities, including orientation sessions and training programs
  • Ensure a smooth transition for new hires, providing necessary resources and support to facilitate their integration into the organisation

Administrative Support:

  • Manage diary and inbox, prioritising and responding to correspondence in a timely manner
  • Attend meetings, take accurate minutes, and distribute action items to relevant stakeholders
  • Collect and manage incoming posts, distributing mail and packages to appropriate recipients
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive filing system, ensuring easy access to important documents and records

The training you will be getting

HR Support Level 3

Using their expert knowledge, we’ve purposefully built our programmes around the real-world use of modern technology, so that the skills we create can be directly applied in the workplace.

Throughout the apprenticeship learners receive coaching, help and guidance from a dedicated team who are there to ensure they get the most from their work experience.

On completion you will receive the CIPD Foundation Certificate in People Practice qualification.
