What you will do in your working day
This full-time position supports the UK sales, marketing, and administration teams, providing an opportunity to learn essential IT and sales skills for a promising IT Sales career path.
Your duties and responsibilities in this role will consist of:
- Proactive Lead Generation: Initiate outbound sales efforts, encompassing cold calling and email outreach, to generate high-quality leads and secure appointments.
- Phone Proficiency: Regularly engage in effective phone conversations, showcasing your sales acumen and communication skills.
- Lead Qualification: Identify and convert sales target lists into qualified, prospective leads, ensuring a steady pipeline of opportunities.
- Meeting Strategy: Strategically plan and execute both in-person and virtual meetings to foster meaningful connections and advance sales discussions.
- Documentation: Assist and prepare documentation, proposals, and reports for customers and public sector tenders.
- Event Management: Assist in hosting marketing events to promote our solutions and engage with potential clients.
- Content Creation: Craft original, industry-relevant content for case studies, blogs, social media platforms, and our website to enhance our online presence.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas to improve processes and solutions.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
The training you will be getting
Firebrand’s sector-leading Level 3 IT Technical Salesperson Apprenticeship (L3ITTS) trains apprentices to sell their business’ technical products and services.
Apprentices will develop approaches to maintaining good customer relations and winning new business through a thorough understanding of existing and emerging technologies.
Firebrands course is delivered either Online (online live instructor-led) or face-to-face in the classroom environment (your choice). Our Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), Learning Mentors (LMs) and world-leading trainers prepare apprentices to work across multiple sectors.
Completion of this apprenticeship will provide learners with the following world-class vendor certifications in addition to the IT Technical Sales apprenticeship:
- Microsoft Certified Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900).
- Microsoft Certified 365 Fundamentals (MS-900).
- Masterclass 1 - Engaging the Customer.
- Masterclass 2 - Negotiation Skills.
- Masterclass 3 – Becoming the next top seller.
