What you will do in your working day

As part of the role the apprentice will obtain an understanding of the opperations of each department [schemes, accounts, personal lines and commercial lines] working closely with the personal lines teams to assist in the placement renewal and administration of policies and claims handling.

Tasks will involve:

  • Review diary system
  • Check emails to the personal lines team
  • Review personal lines Renewal diary and assist in processing forthcoming renewals chasing insurers, update demands and needs statement
  • Chase up any outstanding claims
  • Assist in processing new quotations and conduct a comparison of the covers to assist account handler. 
  • Answering phones to the team

The training you will be getting

Apprentices will achieve the Insurance Practitioner level 3 apprenticeship standard.

  • Learning and development programme that includes the Cert CII
  • Develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours of successful Insurance Practitioners
