What you will do in your working day
In this role you will:
- Support on the direct delivery of work with young people including 121 support and group work
- Develop positive relationships with other professional and family members to ensure joined up support for young people
- Develop programmes of individual and group work to meet the needs of young people
- Learn to Assess, Plan and Evaluate work using ser ice recording methods
- Working with young people through a variety of approaches including one to one, group work focused and informal programmes
- To ensure that information systems are regularly maintained to enable statistical analysis of the performance of the service
The training you will be getting
Upon completion of this apprenticeship you will receive a level 6 degree in Youth Work via the training you will receive from both Warwickshire County Council, and our training provider Premier Pathways who will arrange regular training and assessment days with you in the work place as well as supporting you to create a portfolio of evidence throughout the apprenticeship.
What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship
Once you complete this apprenticeship you will receive substantial support to be retained by the Council within a further relevent role, e.g. as a Youth Support Worker, or to secure further employment with a partner organisation.
