What you will do in your working day
- The processes and techniques required to manufacture the different rectangular and circular ductwork components
- To read and understand CAD manufacture drawings
- To safely and effectively operate a range of both hand and power tools, including but not limited to; Mezz Saw, Grinder, Box and Pan Folder, Spot Welder etc
The training you will be getting
- Level 3 Advanced Level Apprenticeship qualification in Metal Fabrication
- The course is delivered as a day release.
- Other mandatory qualifications: Diploma in Advanced
- Manufacturing Engineering (Development Knowledge) - Level: 3
- Extended Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Development Knowledge) - Level: 3
What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship
- Successful completion of the apprenticeship modules may result in the offer of a full-time position
- This is providing the apprentice works within the company rules and guidelines which will be explained during their induction
